The lodges are situated in busy walk-by areas yet surprisingly quiet, offering a partial view of the Canyon and the Grand Canyon Train Depot side. The dining experience, mainly at the main dining room, was average. Facilities were decent.

The hotel offers a partial view of the Canyon and overlooks the Grand Canyon Train Depot side of the area, with a chance for a view of the Canyon, especially from higher rooms. Despite encountering rude and aggressive behavior from Melissa, the rooms were spacious and lacked the dorm-style brick wall seen in the Kachina room.
